The club would like to announce that Chris Jaques has been selected to be our welfare officer for the 2026 season.

Chris has been a mainstay of Bayswater Strikers for over 20 years. His leadership on and off the field is second to none and has been a role model for how to go about things.

Chris has been a part of the emergency services for many years and it is through his work in this demanding arena that makes him the ideal person to be our welfare officer.

If you are struggling, need help personally and want to talk to someone in confidence about any matter, Chris is there to be your support mechanism and provide you the safe space to do so.

As a club, we can’t thank Chris enough for taking on this role.
