Strategic Plan
In 2021, after identifying the need to prepare for the next generation of Strikers who will soon call GTR home, the club sat with sports strategy firm Club Builder to develop a Strategic Plan to provide a vision for the future and map out the steps to achieve its goals.

Strategic Imperatives
- Programs and Pathways
- Develop programs for players of all ages, abilities, both male and female – especially a full junior program

- Strategic Relationships
- Build key relationships with Council, within football and in the broader community
- Facilities Development
- Work with key stakeholders to improve GTR and Sasses Avenue to ensure the club and members have everything we need to play
- Communication and Engagement
- Engage with and communicate often and deeply with club members and the broader community so all can own their club
- Workforce Management
- Support the club’s operations through improving volunteers experience and making sure they are valued and have everything they need to succeed
