The History of BSSC

More details about our story will be added over time. Some landmarks for the club include:

1996 – founded by the Van Egmond Family

2001 – Women’s section joined Football Federation of Victoria at Tier 2

2006 – Men’s section joined the Bayside Football Association

2007 – Men’s seniors won first of six BFA Premier Divisions (undefeated in 2008 – 18-0-0 and 2009 – 17-1-0)

2012 – Guy Turner Reserve pavilion and sports fields redeveloped by Knox City Council

2013 – Women’s section joined the Bayside Football Association from Football Federation of Victoria

2014 – Women’s seniors win first of three BFA Women’s Premier Divisions (including League Cup double in 2014 and 2017)

2018 – Whole of club joined the Victorian Churches Football Association

2023 and 2024 – Guy Turner sports field and floodlighting redeveloped by Knox City Council

2024 – Juniors Section Founded and Launched
