Nick King

President

Joined the club in 2012, and is often found shutting down opposing wingers as an accountable full-back. Nick is also part of the of the Australian Transplant National Team who played in the World Cup in 2024.

Nick continues leading the club as President, a role he is very experienced for through his years of volunteer service at multiple community clubs. He dedicates an amazing amount of time to the club and is committed to seeing it grow to the next level.

Chris Woods

Treasurer

Joined the club in 2012 and is a technical centre midfielder with an impressive highlight reel of free kicks, long range goal of the year style strikes and an excellent penalty record.

He is U18’s assistant coach, key to bridging their transition into the senior program. He keeps the club on track as Treasurer through sustainable financial management, entering an incredible eighth year.

Joel Clarke

Social/Functions/Socials

Joel jumped in to GTR as a player in 2020 and his natural ability as a sportsman came through quickly as a skilful left wing/forward with an eye for goal, picking up awards

Joel has a long history of supporting local sport, including acknowledgement when he won the Knox CC Clubperson of the Year in 2023. He launched the Blue and Red Army last year and comes on to the committee formally this year to organise social/functions as well as helping with the club socials.

Silas Fisher

Website/Socials

Joined the club in 2019 and quickly established himself as a regular in the senior team as an energetic, tough and uncompromising right back and other positions.

Has joined the committee looking to help out the running of the club and junior launch in 2024 with a focus on marketing and sponsorship.

David Forster

Vice President

Long term player who has spent most of his senior career at GTR, first joining in 2010 and was part of the later Bayside Premier League championship winning teams. Forzy is a tireless left footed full-back or midfield destroyer, shuttling back and forth between the boxes.

David is a volunteer who gets busy in the club’s operations and as VP is key in ensuring that matchday is set up each week and is running smoothly.

Django Birrell

General Committee

Django is a long term Shark who is already a 15 year member. A classy centre midfielder or centre back in the seniors and other grades, and a scorer of vital goals in past seasons (penalties to keep the seniors up).

Django is our recent reserves coach, a role he has done on a few occassions, and has stepped onto the full committee this year.

Alex Gemenis

Juniors/Operations

Alex joined the club as a player a few years back as a midfielder and forward. Although not having a child in the program, Alex took on the coaching of the Under 9’s in 2024 and got a brand new team playing well together.

Alex is focused on supporting the growth of the junior program, and refining other operations of the club using his extensive experience at other community sporting clubs.

Pascal Traczewski

Secretary

Arrived at Shark Park in 2022 and quickly showed himself as an accomplished and versatile player in defence and midfield. In 2025 was very handy as an attacking mid and winger, finishing second in the senior goal scoring.

After working on the club’s social channels last year, Pascal has stepped into the Secretary role for the 2026 season and will support the club’s operations liaising with Council and other stakeholders.

Corbin Vetter

General Committee/Operations

Corbin joined us a few years back and is a tenacious midfield destroyer in our senior team. When in rehab for a serious knee injury, Corbin stepped up to coach the reserves in 2024.

He has joined the committee this year ready to help out across a variety of functions to get stuff done! More details to follow.

Eva Orlovski-Oliver

Grants

Eva joined the club in late 2011 but due to injury didn’t play until 2014, picking up three championship medals and three cup winners medals in the Bayside FA. Usually found wide as a full back or winger.

After over a decade as Secretary, Eva has taken over the Grants portfolio while remaining a vital and valuable source of knowledge for the club committee across all aspects of its operations.
