The Senior Men are flying in preseason, 35+ at training on Monday and four strong wins in tough summer conditions over the past two weeks.

A reserve squad edged Blackburn with a disciplined defensive display and an own goal sealing the result, before the seniors claimed a 3–1 win thanks to goals from either wing, two from an impressive Martin on debut and another from H.

Against Healesville, the reserves won 3–0 with Eddie (2) and Jenx on the scoresheet, while the seniors ran out 3–1 winners as Chang bagged a hat-trick – promptly handing the match ball back to the Treasurer (it is only preseason).

There’s still work to do on and off the pitch, but Paul, Django and the group are pleased with progress.

Next up: a big test against MPL1 Champions Knox (9am / 11am – Saturday at Knox Park). Preseason continues 6:30pm Monday (GTR) and 6:30pm Thursday (Sasses Avenue).
