The members of the club inducted Eva as a life member of Bayswater Strikers earlier this month at the AGM, an award that could not have been more richly deserved.

Eva joined the club in late 2011 but due to injury didn’t play until 2014, subsequently picking up three championship medals and three cup winners medals in the Bayside FA. A versatile player often found wide as a full back or winger, she continues to provide valuable experience across our women’s program.

Eva’s contribution off the field has been incredible, she jumped straight into Secretary in 2012 and served for 11 consecutive years in the Executive before moving into other roles. She was integral as a driver of the club’s advocacy for the upgrade of the GTR pitch and lights. These projects paved the way for the launch of the junior program as part of the strategic direction of the club, which she played a huge part in shaping.

Eva encapsulates life at Shark Park perfectly, great fun, always in the midst of it, a great team mate, always there for everyone and up for a game of 31.
