Last night Kyle Chandler was awarded the Club Person of the Year award at the Knox City Council Sport and Leisure Awards.

Kyle joined the club in 2011 and didn’t take long to break into the senior side, where he has been a mainstay ever since. He is a past coach of the club and has been the senior captain for the last several years. He has been instrumental in getting our inaugural junior program at Bayswater Strikers off the ground. Leading the Junior Working Group over the last few years, he has played a key role in developing the program plan, new policies, junior club philosophy, program guidelines as well as securing grants to help fund the program. He has also taken a hands-on role coaching the Kickstart program.

All this is on top of his roles as club Secretary, Social Media Administrator and Website Developer and Administrator.
